calendar icon February 16, 2021

Other than performing Non Destructive Testing (NDT), such as Proof Load Testing on Lifting Gears, STL do provide Destructive Testing, DT services on our in-house TALURIT (100T) Test Bed to determine the characteristic of the wire ropes, lifting gears for validation and certification purposes.

Let's walk through the test brief with a sample product from our customer who requested a Destructive Test on their Lifting Sling.

Test Gear: 24mm (8X26) Steel Wire Rope with Spelter Socketing

Test Equipment: 100T TALURIT Test Bed

Test Objective: Full Tensile Testing till destruction to capture the performance characteristic
