A proof load test is a process that requires the lift/pull of a specific type of material (the steel wire rope or chain) using specially designed proof load test machines. With the lift/pull, the system is able to measure the tensile strength and load capacity of the material based on elongation under force.

With our TALURIT 1000T RBS-75 Swager, STL can produce mechanical splicing on a wide range of steel wire ropes, with diameter up to a whopping 75mm!

The Annealing and Tapering process is also commonly known as Fusing and Tapering in the industry, as the wire rope strands are heated to the point where they are being "fused-together", followed by the twisting process thereby producing the tapered-effect when it breaks-off.
