MOM E-SERVICE SYSTEM | HOW TO UPDATE EMAIL

E-mail address update on MOM e-service system (Lifting Equipment) 

Ref: Circular on Lifting Equipment from Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) - Ministry of Manpower (MOM) - 26July2023 

IMPORTANT NOTE: From 1 April 2026, system-generated letters for statutory equipment will be sent to owners' e‑mail addresses only.

  • Owners must update their primary e‑mail using the Update Communication Preference feature in MOM’s WSH e‑Services by 31 Mar 2026.
    • Each owner entity must have at least one primary e‑mail address.
    • AEs will not be able to generate certificates/reports for LEs and PVs owned by entities without an e‑mail address on file.

Do not fret if you have not done so, STL team has created this step-by-step guide with reference from Annex F of the MOM circular (MOM/OSHD/2023-05) to help guide you on updating your email onto the MOM system.

Before you start - make sure you have these information ready:

  • Your SingPass or CorpPass login (for the registered owner entity)
  • The owner entity's existing account details (UEN / company name)
  • The primary e‑mail address you want to use (personal or shared inbox)
  • Access to that e‑mail to receive confirmation / verification

Let's begin once the above info is ready...

Step by step guide to update email to MOM's e-system
( Note: This guide takes reference, and includes illustrations from ANNEX F from circular: MOM/OSHD/2023-05 )

 

STEP 1: Sign in to MOM WSH e‑Services
Go to the MOM WSH e‑Services portal and sign in using the owner entity's account (CorpPass or SingPass as appropriate).

STEP 2: Locate Update Communication Preference
Under the Lifting Equipment tab on the WSH e-Services portal, you will see four option tiles. 
Click the Update Communication Preference tile (highlighted in red box below).

STEP 3: Update the Default Communication Preference (primary e‑mail for the entity)

In the Default Communication Preference section, 
enter your entity's Primary Email Address/es (highlighted in red box below) 
You may also enter separate addresses for Lifting Equipment-related matters (in blue box below). 
If you wish to use the primary address for all matters, tick the corresponding checkboxes. 
Click Save when done.

STEP 4: Edit a specific Workplace's communication preference (optional)

Owners who want notices for equipment at a particular workplace sent to that workplace’s email, enable the workplace‑level preference, tick the workplace(s) in the list, and click Edit* to enter the workplace email address. (*Click Edit: open Edit for the workplace, populate the form, add the LE email(s), save, and (optionally) check Override to lock these settings against future workplace record updates.)

STEP 5: Update communication preferences (The Final Step)

You can set up to 10 different email addresses for Lifting Equipment (LE) communications by entering the desired addresses into the respective fields on the form. Separate each email address with a comma; for eg.: alice@company.com, bob@company.com, cay@company.com,...(see blue box below)

DO double‑check each address for typos and accessibility. 
Click Save to apply the changes. The system will use the addresses in the LE field for LE‑related notifications.

That is the last step completed! - You are all done with the email update procedure :)
