STL unlocks bizSAFE4 Certification
September 12, 2025 Sing Teck Leong is proud to announce its successful attainment of bizSAFE Level 4 certification, an upgrade from our previous bizSAFE Level 3 accreditation. This achievement underscores our continuous commitment to workplace safety and health (WSH) excellence.
What's bizSAFE? bizSAFE is the national capability-building program for WSH in Singapore. While not a legally mandated standard for all businesses, Sing Teck Leong has committed itself to this nationally recognized framework developed by the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council. This framework is designed to assist companies, particularly SMEs, in enhancing their WSH systems and fostering a robust safety culture, ultimately building a safer and healthier work environment.
You might ask, "So, does bizSAFE Level 4 really matter?" Absolutely! Achieving bizSAFE Level 4 signifies that Sing Teck Leong has established and implemented a comprehensive WSH Management System – a significant step beyond our previous Level 3 certification.
To put it in perspective:
- bizSAFE Level 3: Focused on identifying risks and implementing initial control measures.
- bizSAFE Level 4: Represents the development of a complete system to manage those risks, with clearly defined responsibilities, robust training programs, and continuous improvement processes embedded throughout the organization.
