Proof Load Testing on Steel Wire Rope Sling

Since the previous Proof Load Testing blog, where we did a visual slide on the Load Test proceedings, we have wanted to follow up with a video run on the profile characteristic during the Pull Test...

Opportunity arises, as our customer requested a similar Proof Load Test on their 14mm (35X7) Wire Rope Sling; Hence , we took the chance and made a short video clip on the test characteristic of the pull-test... i apologise for my wobbly hands during the video taking, we will invest in a tripod for future takes ;)

Brief Information on the Proof Load Test Setting:

• Test Gear: 14 mm (35X7) Wire Rope Sling
• Test Equipment: 100T Talurit Test Bed
• Proof Load Test at 76.4KN ~ 7.7Tons
• Hold Time: 180secs upon reaching targeted loading
