Destructive Testing on 2-legged Chain Sling in SING TECK LEONG, STL Test Site
November 24, 2022 On request by our value customer, a set of 10mm X 2 legged Alloy Chain Sling was put under Proof load (hold) test followed by a destructive test to examine the sling performance under max load on our in-house 100T Talurit Test Bed.
Test gear rated capacity at 4,000kg, max load at 8,000kg.
We performed a loading to 8,000kg followed by 12,000kg; a visual examination shows no defects from both loading.

After both Load Hold Test, we proceed for the finale of maximizing the load testing till failure, the Destructive Test.
